64th Kannada Rajyotsava is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Rajotsava, the symbol of Kannadigara's self-esteem, is only the backdrop of Kannada Bhavat.
History of Kannada Rajotsava:

Although there are many opinions about the origin of the word Karnataka, it is generally said that the word "Karunaadu" is derived from "Karu" meaning "high land". It is said that black cotton soil is the name given to the plains. The Carnatic or Carnatic name was used during the British period as it was a water body on either side of the river Krishna.

Kannada language:
Karnataka has its own separate flag. The red and yellow Kannada flags are celebrated on Rajyotsava day by the Karnataka State Hall of Fame and activity.
M Ramamurthy, a Kannada fighter who realized the need for a flag, prepared the flag using yellow and red. Originally, yellow signified the aura and saffron of Kannadambe, while yellow signified peace and harmony, while red symbolized revolution. The mirror conveys the message of being committed to peace and ready for war.

Initially when the flag was ready, there was a map of Karnataka in the middle of the flag and a seven-sided tee. As it was a bit difficult to print, it was removed and only the yellow and red color was retained.
Kingdom Celebration:
The Rajyotsava is celebrated by most Hindus, Muslims and Christians in Karnataka irrespective of religion, and the government parade auto rickshaws and other vehicles are decorated with the colors of Kannada flag, red and yellow.
The award will be announced on the day of the Karnataka Rajyotsavam by the State Government. Rajyotsava Awards are presented by the State Government of Karnataka. Many cultural events are held around the world.
